House deputy speaker suggests SBY reshuffle “poor performance” ministers

The deputy Speaker at the House of Representatives, Priyo Budi Santoso, has suggested President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono reshuffle ministers with “red marks”.
“The President has to make a strict follow-up regarding to a recent evaluation on ministers’ performance, including a reshuffle if need be,” he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Last week, a quarter of 45 ministries and state institutions have been given “red marks” for failure to implement dozens of national development priority programs in the first half of the year.
Chief of the Presidential Work Unit for Development Monitoring and Control (UKP4), Kuntoro
Mangkusubroto, said the Public Works Ministry was among the institutions performing poorly.
Others include the Justice and Human Rights Ministry, the Communications and Information Technology Ministry and the National Disaster Mitigation Agency.
