6.3-Magnitude Quake Hits Java

A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Cilacap, Central Java, on Tuesday, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) said.

There was no tsunami warning.

The quake struck at a depth of 24 km at 13.39 p.m. 120 km southwest of Cilacap and was felt mildly in Jakarta.
