The police’s anti-terror unit Densus 88 found three bombs behind a church in Poso, Central Sulawesi, on Friday.
The three bombs, tied with yellow tape, were found at the Ranindaya Protestant Church in Pinedapa village, tempointeraktif.com reported.
A team led by Sr. Comr. Martinus also found two long-barreled weapons and one gun stock, three SS1 long barrel magazines, 58 units of ammunition for 5.56 caliber weapons, 51 units of ammunition for another type of weapon and a belt in a plantation belonging to a resident near Lape village.
The evidence was discovered upon a stone gabion, stored in a rice sack, and was covered by a steel plate.
“The search was conducted based on information from MN, who was also the guide,” a police source said, as quoted by the newswire.
Poso police chief Adj. Sr. Cmr. Pulung Rohmadianto confirmed the findings. He said the police found the items after receiving reports from local residents.
