A grandmother died after a burning sigarette butt slipped out of her hand and ignited the mattres she fell asleep on.
No-one noticed the incident until it was well and truely to late and the house nearly gutted, the only access to the house was via a narrow footpath, and the nearest neighbour's was about 100 meters away. No one else was in the house at that time, just the old lady (85)
