Indonesian doctors say they are ready to remove two remaining nails from the body of three-year-old Safira.
Doctors have already removed more than two dozen, 10-centimeter-long nails and two syringe needles from the Safira’s legs, and have been waiting until she recovers from the first surgery before attempting to remove the final two objects, one of which is embedded dangerously close to her spine.
Powerful South Sulawesi Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo, who has previously visited the girl at the Andi Makassau Hospital in Parepare, has blamed the case on black magic.

Kamaruddin, the chief surgeon, at the hospital, has previously said the objects had been inserted into the girl's legs by a person.
Police have questioned Safira's mother and estranged father as part of the investigation.
Kamarudin said doctors working on Safira's case were ready to help police by confirming the injuries were child abuse.
