Indonesian domestic helper, Erwiana Sulistyaningsih, who was allegedly abused by her employer, has arrived back in Hong Kong from Indonesia, accompanied by her father.
She was also accompanied by consulate staff. It's understood they will visit the Indonesian consulate, RTHK reports.
Erwiana will spend several days in the territory and will stay in a shelter arranged by a workers' union.
The foreign domestic helper will undergo medical examination at government and private clinics.
She's also expected to go to the Kowloon West police headquarters.
Her employer, Law Wan-tung, appeared in court earlier charged with wounding with intent, common assault and criminal intimidation.
