Dozens of Kids in Jembrana Suspected become Pedophille Victims

Dozens of children in Jembrana Regency between the ages of 14 to 17 years old are suspected victims of pedophille that was done by perpetrator initial MS aka B.

“We had arrested the perpetrator, so we’ve examined some of the victims, as well as securing the perpetrator’s notebook containing the names of the victims,” said Wakapolres Jembrana, Commissioner Hagnyono, in Negara, on Wednesday.

According to him, in the notebook, listed names of alleged victims of sexual harassment did by MS aka B.

“To us the perpetrator only remember the name of eight victims, three of them are noted in the book, while the other five not. So far, there are a total of 28 victims, who are all teenage boys,” he said.

He said that the case was revealed after obtained information from the public, every Saturday night the perpetrator’s house is crowded with teenagers.

“People also see there is a peculiarity from the teenagers who come. When entering the house they look happy, but when they got home they looked limp. We then investigate it and uncover the case,” he said.

The perpetrator persuades the victims with the mode will be given money and goods.

Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) monitors the case. “We condemn an action to the perperator and urged the local government to take action so that similar cases do not happen again,” said Chairman of the National Commission for Child Protection, Arist Merdeka Sirait, on Thursday.

Since there are quite a lot of victims, emergency action must be taken by the government, because the incident is classified as an extraordinary crime.

While Jembrana Regent, I Putu Artha, admitted that he is surprised with sexual crime against children or pedophile, which occurred in his territory.

“In fact, since the pedophile case rising at the national level, I have often reminded the village chief and head, to oversee their respective areas,” he said.
