The explosion occurred at a fireworks factory in Kosambi, Tangerang, Banten, at around 9 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The fire resulting from the explosion lasted for three hours, until 12 p.m. Eleven fire trucks were deployed to extinguish the fire.
