2 more found dead from boat accident on Bengawan Solo
Two more victims of a boat that capsized on the Bengawan Solo River in Central Java were found early Saturday morning, increasing the death toll in the incident to eight.
The victims were Ketut Arisanto, 30, whose body was found in Banjarsari village, and Yhana Octaviani, 15, found in Ngablak village in Dander district in the Central Java town of Bojonegoro.
The boat flipped over on the river near Padang village in Trucuk, another Bojonegoro district.
The discovery of the two bodies leaves only Sri Parti, 17, a student at state vocational school SMKN 1 Bojonegoro, still missing.
Twenty-three other passengers of the ill-fated boat survived, kompas.com reported.
